To figure out how much salt you'd need to make 250mL a 0.2M solution, you have to use the Molarity equation. The equation is moles of solute (salt)/ Liters solution = Molarity. To start you need the amount of liquid in L. To convert that I divided 250 by 1000. Then I multiplied .250L by 0.2M and got 0.05 moles. Then to convert moles to grams I used 0.05 moles NaCl X 58.43g NaCl/ 1 mole NaCl. You need 2.92gNaCl.
