Soap Bar- #8, #39

Volume- #39

To calculate the volume of the soap bar you need to use the equation v=lwh where v is volume, l is length, w is width and h is height. For the soap bar I used it would be 5.5cm X 8.5cm X 3.5cm which gives a volume of 163.625cm cubed. To calculate the volume in meters I multiplied each measurement by the conversion factor 1 meter/ 100cm. After multiplying the new measurements I got 0.000163625m cubed.

Density- #8

To calculate the density of the soap bar you must use the equation d=m/v. The mass of the soap bar is 175.69g and the volume is 163.625cm cubed (calculation above). For a density I got 1.0737356761g/cm cubed.
